DAAD is a joint initiative of the city government of Rotterdam and the local trade and industry. Started in 2005, DAAD services employers and focuses on balancing the Rotterdam labour market. The level of education of the unemployed falls behind with the level desired by employers. DAAD helps bridging the gap with recruitment efforts, education and reintegration.
